Anthrocon is pleased to announce Guest of Honor Andy Runton for 2011!

Mr. Runton has been charming audiences young and old with his graphic novels and comics of Owly, a kind-hearted little vegetarian owl who's always on the lookout for new friends and adventures. Owly has won the Ignatz and Eisner awards, and has been turned into an animated short. He's toured across the nation to share his stories and greet his fans, and we're delighted he's agreed to join us at Anthrocon 2011.

Yay for Owly! The story about the birdbath contest in Owly volume 5 had a very inspiring message for creative people, that winning the award isn't as rewarding as pleasing the audience.

I hope he has the entire run of comics for sale.

Awesome! I dig Owly. I've met him a few years ago. Nice fellow.
